Nutella Brownies

Preheat the oven to 170*C

Step 1.
Put all the ingredients in at once and mix together until it nice and smooth with no lumps.

Step 2.
lay baking paper on a baking tray and pout the mix onto the paper, making sure it spreads evenly.

Step 3.
Place the tray into the oven and let them bake for 15-20 minutes. Once cooked take out of the oven being careful and leave to cool - Once cooled cut into any shape you like.

October Picks

The nights are drawing in and the mornings are getting colder. This can only mean one thing..
We are in October!

I just want to say that I am very sorry for not posting in over two weeks, I have been very busy and haven't had much time. So to start back up again I decided to do an October Favorites.

Apple TV.
I have had this for quite a long time and have used it, however I only recently have been using it to its full potential. I absolutely love this thing and have currently got a Bluetooth keyboard connected to it. The Apple TV paired with the keyboard makes for a great media consumption device. I specifically love the Mirror display feature. It is great for displaying media into your TV screen.

Jumpers and Sweaters.
A clothing favourite of mine right now is Jumpers. I am currently liking this grey one from next. The jumper is a kind of knitted pattern and keeps me nice and cozy. It goes well with anything really!

The Pumpkin Spiced Latte.
I recently decided to try a pumpkin spiced latte from Starbucks, and I'm so glad I did. It is a great coffee drink that will be sure to warm you up (unless you get it iced!) and is a delightful festive, Autumnal drink.

Photoshop Express.
My favourite app at the moment is Photoshop Express. This app is brilliant, I use it to edit most of my photos. It has some amazing features and makes your images look flawless! This is a must if you are into the art of photography and Instagraming!

Taylor Swift.
Next up is Taylor Swifts album "1989". This is once again a fantastic piece of work from Taylor Swift and the whole album is amazing! I particularly like the song called "Wonderland".

Jim Chapman - YouTube.
This Autumn I have also been really enjoying Jim Chapman on his YouTube channel. Both his main and blog channels are fantastic and are very entertaining!

So that wraps up what I have been loving this season, what are your October picks?

Banana and Choc Chip Muffins

Today I am going to share a cake recipe which not only tastes amazing, but actually contains fruit. These luscious muffins are really easy to bake and are virtually effortless!

You will need:

175g plain flour
150g sugar
125g butter
2 large eggs
2tsp baking flower
1/2 tsp bicarbonate of soda
300g mashed banana
1tsp vanilla extract
choc chips (as many as you want)
15 Muffin cases

Step 1
Melt butter until it goes to a rich colour, but not to burn it. When melted leave to cool for a little while.

Step 2
Preheat oven to 170 0C.

Step 3
Peel and mash the bananas in a bowl.

Step 4
In a separate mixing bowl weigh out the sugar and mix it with the cooled butter, now mix well.

Step 5
Add eggs in to the mixture and  stir well!

Step 6
Add in vanilla extract, the mashed bananas and mix up.

Step 7
Now add in your amount of choc chips, and once again mix well.

Step 8
Weigh out the flour and sift it twice, add in the baking powder and bicarbonate of soda. Sift into the mixing bowl in thirds and stir inbetween using a folding action.

Step 9
Now you need to lay out cake cases on a tray and fill 2/3 full. Don't worry if you don't fill all the cases!

Step 10
Finally bake for 20 mins, check with a knife to see if its cooked - knife should be clean. If not put in the oven, until the knife comes out of the muffin clean. (Keep checking)

I hope you enjoy this delicious 10 step cake recipe, I definitely did!

Autumn Makeover

Summer is virtually over and rolling up next is the gorgeous season, Autumn! I absolutely love Autumn, the crispy leaves, the golden brown colours and the cold nights snuggled up on the sofa with a mug of hot chocolate and a warm blanket. One thing I like to do is re-order my wardrobe, I move away from my t-shirts and lean more towards my jumpers!

As you will notice I have recently given my blog a whole new look and that is because I thought it was about time to wave summer goodbye and say hello to Autumn.

To achieve this new autumn look I made my overall theme colour brown. It is a intricate light tone of brown that compliments the charcoal colour text nicely. Talking about font I have changed it all through my blog, I am now using Georgia a simple yet classy font.
My new blog header is simplistic and clean. The font used in the header is simple, yet unique. This font pared with the brown text and white background make a great combination.

For some of the new design looks, I used HTML coding. I believe that using coding with your template enhances the look and personality of your blog. This also makes it more individual and different. To use HTML coding to edit the design features of the template, I followed some fantastic guides. If there is something in particular you want to do or change just search it and you will be surprised with the amount of tutorials on the feature you are searching.

I hope you like my new look, and stay with me to see it grow and change overtime.

Which is your favorite season?

Sam :)
